Feeder Cattle

Feeder Cattle refers to cattle weighing between 700 and 800 pounds and which are mature enough to be separated and fattened in a feedlot before being slaughtered. Feeder Cattle usually come from a grazing program and are sometimes referred to as “yearlings.”
